Meet the Nuts
Not your average two-man band, Mixed Nuts is guitars, keys and vocals with a full band sound.
60s, 70s, 80s and Yacht Rock classics the way you remember them.
Steve Clark
Guitar, Lead Vocals
Steve's first experience performing was in a 6th grade talent show. His "talent" was lipsyncing to Beatles and Beach Boys songs. However, it did spark an interest in playing music which he has done ever since. Over the years he has performed in the casinos in Nevada, at the Greek and Pilgrimage Theaters in Los Angeles and at the Laurel Canyon Music Festival. He has traveled the western states in various bands and even shared the main stage with Kenny Loggins and Robin Thicke at The Festival of Lights in Riverside, CA. Steve also played worship music for Harvest Christian Fellowship for many years. He has been a salesman, business owner, high school coach and eventually a history teacher in the Redlands School District but has always been a working musician throughout the years.
Gary St.Germain
Keyboards, Vocals , Guitar
Born at an early age in Tokyo, Gary wanted to be Ringo Starr when he grew up. That didn’t come to pass (being Ringo or growing up), so he attended music school (BA, MA, Dr. Pepper, Magna Too Loud) to become good enough to play in Mixed Nuts. Gary has composed radio jingles (San Bernardino old-timers may remember “L J Snow the Ford Man”) and performed with the Taiko Center of Los Angeles playing Japanese taiko drums, touring Japan, Europe and performing throughout out the US. He can be heard playing on the movie soundtrack of “Battleship”, Rob Thomas’ (Matchbox 20, Santana) hit single “Her Diamonds”, and video game soundtracks like “Jade Empire” and John Woo’s “Stranglehold.”
He likes to laugh with (not *at*) Steve.
